The ONIX Feed Management suite is built upon a comprehensive set of tools that support the production and management of high-quality book metadata. The three main components – Record Management, Feed Management, and Access & Integration – provide an integrated and collaborative environment for managing ONIX records.
The Records Repository contains all product records managed by an organization. Records can be imported into the repository from existing ONIX XML files or created individually. Each record in the repository can be modified using ONIX PIE or the web-based XML editor.
Managing a feed involves publishing versions, either manually or on a schedule, and quality control. Changes to records included in a feed can be reviewed before a new version is published. Other feed management activities include configuration, access management, and usage monitoring.
Access API tokens can be created for yourself or trade partners by creating entries in the Address Book.
Individuals can be invited to participate in the production of ONIX within the organization.
