This is the fifth book in the ‘Cully’ Series.Cully is playing with Fern’s kitten, Socks. He feels mischievous and decides to try and change her shape and hurts her. When Socks scratches him Cully experiences a range of emotions from shocked to happy, that teach him to be more considerate of others in his play.There are further suggestions for educators to guide children through Cully’s experience and identify themselves in similar situations. “Cully and Socks” simply explores the power children can gain by identifying and understanding their emotions.
