Adema’s misadventure in high school thrusts her into a city life that she is unprepared for. She misses her large tight knit family and community. Their father’s life in the city is a far cry from what she had imagined. She unwittingly becomes entangled in her father’s deception that threatens to tear their family apart. Just when things are threatening to spiral out of control, help comes from unexpected quarters.
